We would like to congratulate the medalists for their great games and sporting spirit. We have enjoyed being part - even though only in spirit
and glued to our computer screens. The Namibian
National Team has qualified for the next World Championships. The number of
teams qualifying for the next world championships has increased to 14 teams.
The Namibian National team has received the "Fair Play Trophy" of the World Championships 2005 which reflects on the team having the lowest penalty minutes.
All our players have assisted or scored at least one goal. Cello Baas youngest player on the National team - has the best player total for Namibia with 4 goals and 1 assist closely followed by Timo Giersch 3 goals and 1 assist, which is valued the same as Jörg Güther with 1 goal and 3 assist.
